A Much Needed Update!

Wow, I can't believe how horrible I am at updating this blog already! Since the last time I blogged a lot has happened.

Casey had his pinning ceremony and is finally an official firefighter! He has been doing it for about a month and absolutely loves it! Even though he hasn't had a fire yet he does have some interesting stories. It has been a big adjustment with the schedule but we are finally getting used to it! Here are some pictures from the night Casey got pinned.

Dayne's soccer season went really well and he had a blast playing with his really good friends Sophia and Addison and the rest of the "Green Tigers". If you haven't heard already a few weeks ago Dayne stuck a bean in his nose at school and failed to tell anyone until later that night. Needless to say we spent that night in urgent care and the following morning in the ENT clinic to get it out. It was a $110 bean!!! I thought we were over this obsession of sticking things in holes when he stuck a rock in his ear last year but apparently not! Dayne graduated from preschool this month and will move up to the Kindergarten class next month. His graduation ceremony was so fun and he looked so great in his cap and gown! Here are some pictures of Dayne.

Keston is growing up so fast!! He is in the "Crawlers" room at daycare now but lately he has looked like he is ready to start walking. YIKES!! He is eating all sorts of food and just last weekend we finally saw his first tooth! Mommy has given him 3 haircuts already because his hair is just out of control! Keston's favorite thing to do is push furniture around. He pushes the kitchen chairs around for hours so if anyone is in need of remodeling...

Besides being busy with the family at home I got a big promotion at work! It's been very stressful but I am loving it! Hope everyone is doing well and that we will see you soon!

HE DID IT!!!!!!

We are so proud to announce that Casey will be a firefighter for the South Platte Fire District starting March 16th!!!!!!!!!

I am the WORST at keeping in touch and updating everyone on the family with phone calls and pictures so I am hoping that this blog will help me...I will try my best to keep this up and going! Please come back to get updates on what the Wimberlys are up to!!

Right now the Wimberlys are preparing to transition into a new lifestyle (we will know for sure after March 2nd) with Casey getting a Firefighting position. Casey has worked so hard and sacrificed many things to accomplish this dream and we are so proud of him! Dayne cannot wait for his daddy to be a "real firefighter"!
Casey ready for his interview!

Dayne will be 5 in July and although he is a Casey Clone he definitely has my build - long and lanky. That kid eats us out of the house but he does not have an ounce of fat on his body. He is learning to read at school and has just read his first book!! Dayne will start soccer in March and can not wait!!
Dayne being his goofy self...NEVER a dull minute with this child!

Keston is almost 7 months now and comes in at a hefty 22 lbs! Although he looked just like Dayne when he was born he is starting to take on his own look. He is so chubby and has so much long white-blonde hair I don't know if I will ever be able to cut it. Keston is the easiest baby and is always happy. He is sitting up by himself, blowing rasperries, screeching and starting to army crawl now. I have a feeling that actual crawling is not far away!

I love bath time!

Keston and Dayne go to the same school and Dayne LOVES to check on him throughout the day. Dayne is such a great big brother and no one can make Keston laugh like Dayne does (as you can see in this video).

These two boys have my heart in their hands!

As for me, I am still working at KUMC as an Administrative Assistant. Besides that my family consumes me and I would not have it any other way!
